THE DOOR

Our inspiration at THE DOOR is the Lord’s emphatic statement in John 10: 9, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.” We are convinced that Jesus/Yasha our savior is the WAY, TRUTH and LIFE and that no one can get to the Father or receive salvation and eternal life but by Him. Propelled by these convictions, we are set to do ministry the same way the Lord Jesus Christ did.

Our mission is to build THE DOOR ministry to consist of many distinct ministries base on what the Lord Jesus Christ did while on earth. To this end, THE DOOR is open to other believers, especially ministers coming to join forces with us as a family to advance the kingdom of God in various capacities; to enlarge kingdom territory.

“And he HIMSELF gave some to be, apostles; and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and teachers.” Ephesians 4: 11.

The Spirit of God has sufficiently equipped and mandated us to bring different ministers functioning in the fivefold ministry offices under THE DOOR ministry platform. The purpose for this is to equip the saints to advance the kingdom; edifying the body of Christ for the work of the ministry. We can achieve these through ministering to families, singles, the young and old in Christ through the apostolic, prophetic, evangelism, pastoring and teaching ministry offices.

Here at THE DOOR ministry, we believe in the sanity and exceptionality of every man, woman, boy, girl or child created by God. We believe that every human person was created in the image and likeness of God, and thus very important. The Psalmist acknowledge this fact and proclaim thus, “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.” Psalm 139: 14. Every one of us is fearfully and wonderfully created and thus deserve the best attention and treatment.

The Apostle Peter, inspired by the Holy Spirit, also lets us know how valuable the people of God are. In 1 Peter 2: 9, he said, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” This underscores the fact that God value people, especially those who have come to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord.

Inspire by this divine way of God’s love and value for the human person, THE DOOR ministry is compel to also give love and value everyone. Whoever our ministry brings us in contact with, either physically or through other media, we are compelled to touch them with these three core values.

OUR CORE VALUES

INTEGRITY

“ In all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing INTEGRITY, reverence, incorruptibility, 8 sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.” Titus 2: 7 – 8. THE DOOR ministry consist of men and women who are steadfast adherence of God’s Word. In our dealings, with both Christians and non-Christians we live by what Titus shown here to walk in honesty, probity and accountability in all that we do. Really Jesus is our watchword, He was the Ideal of Integrity. THE DOOR ministry will show integrity because our end goal is to do ministry the way that Jesus did and how the Word of God has shown us to be. When we seek to live like Jesus we continue to grow in Integrity. We noticed that Integrity is Transmissible.

TRUTH

“Lead me in Your TRUTH and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.” Psalm 25: 5. THE DOOR ministry believes that the Word of God (Jesus Christ) is truth. The Word of God is the only true light that illuminates and shows us our direction through life. The truth, reality and answer to any challenge in life can only be found in God’s Word. This is why THE DOOR ministry will only point you to the truth in the Word of God so it can be tangible in the heart of man and woman.

WHOLENESS

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5: 23 – 24. God desires for both the human spirit, soul and body to be whole and blameless. And this can only be achieve through the sanctification of the Word of God. The synergy of the fivefold ministry offices under THE DOOR ministry platform will bring about the auspiciousness and completeness of the human person just as God desires.
